Contemporary art in Versailles – Versailles (1)

From 19 June to 30 September 2012, the Palace of Versailles presents the exhibition Joana Vasconcelos Versailles in the State Apartments and the gardens.

Not everybody like it.  Versailles is the splendid history of the French monarchy,  a contemporary art exhibition in such place,  as our visiting guide (a middle age lady) said: “it’s not appropriated”.

The works themselves are very beautifully done.

1. A tower made with bottles.

2. A helicopter decorated with pink feathers.

3. A paire of metal shoes.

4. A tissue sculpture.
