I remember Serge Gainsbourg. Did he not record what, at the time, was a ‘racy’ song with …..was it Charlotte Rampling? I should look it up on Wikipedia!
Maybe you have confused Charlotte Rampling with Jane Birkin (both British and thin), Jane Birkin was with Serge Gainsbourg, she recorded one of his songs “Je t’aime, moi non plus”, quite racy 🙂
