Montmartre cemetery is the third largest necropolis in Paris, after Père Lachaise Cemetery and Montparnasse Cemetery.
I can learn history from visiting cemetery, at the same time have a good walk.
Montmartre cemetery has quite some up and down, some tombs are even under a 1888 metallic bridge. This photo below is from Un Jour de Plus à Paris.
This is the most visited grave in Montmartre cemetery, the Egyptian-born singer/actress Dalida.

That morning, my plan was: walk from Moulin Rouge up to Basilique du Sacré-Cœur de Montmartre, visit Montmartre cemetery on the way.
Then I met this charming place: Cité du Midi, good surprise.
